Job Location: 100% On-site (64 Hatt Street, Dundas ON)

Brief Description of Company:

Our team is looking to bring on some Production Associates! As an associate with SBC, you will work closely with our production and shipping teams to manage orders, packaging, shipping/returns, administration, and small business errands and helping run our office.

The Stage Beauty Company is a Canadian women-owned and run makeup company that was founded in 2015 by Danielle Houston. SBC combines our passions for the arts and makeup to bring a full service makeup line designed specifically for performance teams. Stage Beauty Co. is ethically made, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, hypo-allergenic, allergy tested, non-comedogenic and paraben free. We work with teams from beginning to end to create a unique makeup look, custom kits, step by step video tutorials, easy online ordering and more!

Responsibilities:

  • Packing individual and team orders
  • Creating shipping labels
  • Organizing product/Inventory
  • Keeping workspace and office clean
  • May include shipping direct-to-consumer and wholesale orders, as well as logistics administration

Qualifications & Skills:

About the Gig: 
  • You’ll be a key player in developing and implementing the brand’s local strategy, marketing initiatives and branding communication activities to promote our products & services. This will include:
    • managing campaigns and executing marketing support for product launches, in-store activities, media planning, email marketing, social media management and paid ads.
  • You’ll collaborate to develop, coordinate and manage communications in alignment with our go-to marketing strategy. 
  • You’ll work with outside vendors to development sales support materials.
  • You’ll execute new product launches and establish targets and goals for post-launch evaluations. 
  • You’ll monitor results, report on trends, research new opportunities and test new strategies.
  • This is a remote role with an option to come into our Dundas, ON headquarters as needed.
  • Part-time hours that are variable on the time of year (10-15hrs/week to start).

About the Gig: 
  • You’ll research and find qualified teams to partner with, and move them through the on-boarding process. 
  • You’ll ensure the successful team integration of Stage Beauty Co.  as soon as a contract is signed and own all the renewals of your accounts. 
  • You’ll drive revenue by ensuring that teams  continue to use Stage Beauty Co. because they couldn’t imagine running their studios without it.
  • You’ll delivery unparalleled client services  for our team partners and maintain regular touch points with decision makers, as their  main Stage Beauty Co, point of contact.  We want teams to continue doing business with us not just because our product rocks their socks, but also because we are a delight to work with.
  • You’ll elevate the overall client experience to increase renewal rates and satisfaction of Stage Beauty Co.
  • You’ll take on operational tasks, which may include order management, errands and administration, as an integral part of a small growing business!
  • Mix of on-location at our head office in Dundas, Ontario and remotely working.
  • Fixed + variable (commission) pay structure.

  • Work virtually (but closely!), with the owner of Stage Beauty Co.
  • Take on a variety of responsibilities dependent on the time of the year, including – client on-boarding, customer support, email management, newsletter creation, product development assistance, order management, administration, supply management, service tasks, small business errands, social media assistance, content development and more! 
  • Everyday looks different on our team. As an integral part of our small business, you’ll receive a BTS look at what its like to run a company.

Stage Beauty Co. provides internship opportunities for students enrolled in University programs that offer invaluable experience, training and mentorship while strictly adhering to all regulations set-out by Ontario’s Ministry of Labour. There are FIVE different internship terms:

    • Fall Term: September to December – applications due by August 1st

    • Double Term: 8-month internship starting in either the Winter, Summer or Fall term
