The Stage Beauty Company is a Canadian women-owned and operated makeup company specializing in performance beauty for dance, cheer, and skating teams.
Our products are ethically made in Canada, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, allergy tested, non-comedogenic, and paraben-free. We work with teams from beginning to end—offering custom makeup looks, curated kits, step-by-step tutorials, easy online ordering, and more.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day functions of the business. This is a contractor role (not an employee position) and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys being deeply involved in how a product-based business operates and scales.
You’ll work closely with the owner and production team across all areas of operations—from fulfillment and client onboarding to backend systems, product launches, and client site launches.
No two days look the same in this role. You’ll play a key role in ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, systems stay organized, and both product and client launches run smoothly from behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting order fulfillment processes (packing, organizing, shipping coordination)
– Assisting with production workflows and kit assembly processes
– Supporting and coordinating with the production team on daily operations
– Managing client onboarding processes and setup workflows
– Supporting product launches and client site launches (backend setup, coordination, QA)
– Assisting with backend website updates and product/page management
– Managing customer inquiries, order issues, and general support emails
– Assisting with inventory tracking, receiving, and stock organization
– Maintaining and improving operational systems within Notion
– Supporting product development logistics and internal coordination
– Assisting with administrative tasks and small business errands
– Helping troubleshoot and improve day-to-day workflows and systems

About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support and execute our marketing initiatives. This is a contractor role (not an employee position) and is best suited for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on creative execution.
A key part of this role is content creation and in-person collaboration, including weekly time spent at our Dundas HQ for shoots, product content, and team collaboration.
You’ll play a key role in developing and executing campaigns, supporting product launches, and growing our brand presence across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
– Managing and executing marketing campaigns and product launches
– Planning and scheduling social media and email marketing
– Writing captions, emails, and marketing copy aligned with our brand voice
– Creating content (photo + video) for social media, campaigns, and launches
– Leading and participating in in-person content creation sessions at HQ (products, dancers, behind-the-scenes)
– Coordinating content shoots and capturing brand assets in person
– Supporting paid ads and media planning initiatives
– Collaborating on go-to-market strategy and brand messaging
– Working with external vendors to develop marketing and sales materials
– Monitoring performance, reporting on trends, and suggesting improvements
– Researching new opportunities and testing new strategies
About You:

Our team is looking to bring on some Production Associates! As an associate with SBC, you will work closely with our production and shipping teams to manage orders, packaging, shipping/returns, administration, and small business errands and helping run our office.
The Stage Beauty Company is a Canadian women-owned and run makeup company that was founded in 2015 by Danielle Houston. SBC combines our passions for the arts and makeup to bring a full service makeup line designed specifically for performance teams. Stage Beauty Co. is ethically made, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, hypo-allergenic, allergy tested, non-comedogenic and paraben free. We work with teams from beginning to end to create a unique makeup look, custom kits, step by step video tutorials, easy online ordering and more!
